Ioannis Malekos was born in Cyprus. He studied computer engineering and, more recently, finance. He has worked in Greece and Belgium. His main photographic interest is in street photography and has studied everyday life scenes and situations in various cities. He has been experimenting with colors and more recently he is working on high-contrast black&whites.
The Parking
He has done two personal exhibitions: Urban Snapshots in Nicosia, Cyprus in May 2014 with large scale color prints in an old industrial space, and TokyoKyotoTokyo in Athens, Greece in November 2018 with medium sized artistic prints combined with slide projection in a neoclassic house in the city centre.
He has published three photographic albums of the collections Urban Snapshots, Aero and A fashion show: Backstage.
